workshops

Attention organisations and schools!

Would you like your youth to learn about sustainability? We at European Footprints would like that too! That’s why we invite you to delegate a group of young people to actively participate in our workshops.

These have been specially designed to pass on knowledge about sustainable lifestyles to youth as well as to inspire them to become active citizens and take part in shaping the society around them:

1. Introduction to the SDG

2. The Power of Stories

3. “Climate Action” Simulation Game

1. Introduction to the SDGs

  • DURATION: 1h-1h30min

  • N. PARTICIPANTS: 3-15

  • AGE: 13-18 years old

Classic workshop format introducing participants to the Sustainable Development Goals (in general and/or looking specifically at a cluster of SDGs of interest), asking them to design a small project for a fictional city or neighbourhood and implement what they learnt.

2. The Power of Stories

  • DURATION: 1h-1h30min

  • N. PARTICIPANTS: 3-15

  • AGE: 13-18 years old

Classic workshop format introducing participants to storytelling as a fun method to convey serious messages about the future of our planet.

3. Climate Action Simulation Game

  • DURATION: 2h-2h30min

  • N. PARTICIPANTS: 3-15

  • AGE: 13-18 years old

An interactive simulation game where participants act as representatives of various interest groups, working cooperatively to advance on climate negotiations during a fictitious United Nations Summit.

We are open to your suggestions for the date and time.

The format can be both physical or digital – it’s up to you! If you wish to propose a group of young people from your school or organisation (a class, youth club, study group, group of volunteers etc.), or just learn more about this opportunity, we’d be happy to hear from you!
